Homework Policy
Although not required nightly, students in the third grade should be reading at home on a regular basis. Homework will always include a Spelling and Math assignment unless otherwise noted. Uncompleted homework will be done during the day and may result in missed free time to accomplish this task.

Spelling Homework Folders will contain the following:
a word list
point sheet
parent signature sheet
spelling workbook
Folders will be passed out on Mondays. Students will choose and complete an assignment containing either a 5, 10, 15, or 20 point value. Students have until Friday to complete their Spelling to reach 40 points for an A, 30 points for a B, or 20 points for a C. I do ask that students bring in their workbook everyday so I can assure that Spelling work is being done everyday. Parents or Guardians are asked to check and sign off on each completed assignment.
