Rewards!
My goal as an
educator is to create a positive classroom environment.
In doing so the students are the ones who make the rules.
I treat my students as individuals. I give them freedom to make decisions
for themselves and take responsibility for their actions. I have also
implemented a positive behavior reward system.
This system stimulates good behavior in my students and praises them for
the good behavior they display on a daily basis. My reward systems are: School
Store, Homework Charts, and Cooperative Group Tickets.

Homework Chart
Every time students bring in their homework assignment completed they receive a check on their homework chart. When the chart is filled, the students that have all check marks will receive a NO HOMEWORK pass. This pass exempts them from ONE homework assignment.
Cooperative
Group Coins
Groups will receive a coin if they are working well together, listening to instruction and/or transitioning from one subject to the next quickly. Group coins encourage children to get along and work together. On Fridays, the group with the most coins WINS! Each member of the group will receive a NO HOMEWORK PASS.
